The Actuarial & Pensions Consulting Profession Remuneration Survey examines the remuneration of actuaries, investment consultants and pensions consultants employed by consulting organisations.

Sixteen leading consulting organisations participate in the survey which is now in its ninth year.

The survey separately analyses the remuneration of those in the following consulting roles:

    • International Pensions Specialists
  • Insurance Actuaries
    • Life Insurance Specialists
    • General Insurance Specialists
  • Investment Consultants
  • Non-actuarial Pensions Consultants

Analyses produced
Most analyses are conducted according to job-level; other analyses are based on:
  • Post-qualification experience
  • Number of examination passes
All pay analyses show Base Salary, Total Cash and Total Remuneration statistics.

There are 10 job-levels in this survey. In addition to the main national analysis, the survey reports feature:

Survey reports
Reports are produced annually and are available only to participants.
